Spring is in the Air

It is getting warmer and spring is in the air. We are well on our way to planning for next year. If you are new to Catherine Nichols Gunn our kindergarten registration is on going and our Welcome to Kindergarten evening is June 4th. We look forward to meeting new families and sharing the many great things about our school.

School council is holding nominations for next years executive on May 28th and we welcome folks who would like to help out. Child care is provided with a 7 pm start.

Mayor's Food Drive at C. N. Gunn

Students and staff are excited to participate in the Mayor's Food Drive. We challenged ourselves to collect more than the amount collected last year - 135 pounds. After only two days we have collected 217 pounds - well on our way to our goal of 400 pounds. Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are encouraged to bring donations when they come to the Christmas Concert next Thursday, December 11. Thank you to all for your generosity.

Welcome Back BBQ

We are very excited to be able to host our annul BBQ this Thursday evening. Thank you to the members of the Community School Advisory Committee (CSAC) for sponsoring and attending this great community event. All are welcome. See Thursday 6-8 pm.

It is the last week of June and the sun is shining. Parents are welcome to join us for our farewell assembly on Wednesday. We wish you all a fun and safe summer. Enjoy time with your children and we will see them all back on Aug 18th.
